When I’m already mentally drained, it’s such a relief to have a site I can actually let my son use without hovering over his shoulder the whole time. He likes the animal facts and games, and I like that it feels safe. I’m not sitting there worrying about weird ads or random junk popping up.

I’m picky about anything my kid uses, and I don’t think that’s being dramatic. From what I’ve seen, the privacy side seems solid, and that matters a lot to me. I know no app or service is perfect, but this one actually makes me feel like my kid is safer using it.

My kids are really into the Nat Geo Kids print magazine, and I’m relieved because so many kids’ magazines we’ve tried feel flimsy and get wrecked almost immediately. These pages actually feel sturdy and nice, not cheap at all, and the photos are always bright and clear. It gets passed all over our house, which usually means things don’t survive long here, but this one holds up surprisingly well. We’ve even kept a bunch of the issues because they still look good instead of turning into another pile of destroyed paper...

I don’t have the patience for confusing fees or surprise charges, so I was relieved that the billing was clear right from the start. Everything was easy to understand, and there weren’t any random extra costs popping up later.

The articles are easy enough for them to follow, and the photos really help pull them in.
